The amateur astronomy community in the North Dakota and western Minnesota region is becoming a really stellar location with two great events: the annual North Dakota Star Party and the 2007 North Central Region Astronomical League Convention.
The North Dakota Star Party, held annually since 2003 at Cross Ranch State Park, has developed into the North Dakota amateur astronomy event of the year. The ND Star Party draws attendants from across North Dakota, Minnesota, and Hawai'i. The FM Astronomy Club is honored to be the host for the 2007 North Central Region Astronomical League Convention, or NCRAL, provides another exciting regional opportunity for people interested in astronomy. Visit the NCRAL Convention '07 page for information and news as the convention draws close.
